The National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Kolkata, under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has released a new recruitment notification for 2026. The institute is inviting applications for 5 senior administrative and accounts posts on a Deputation / Short Term Contract basis.

Qualification & Experience:

• Graduate in any discipline

• Holding similar post OR

• 5 years experience in Admin/Finance/Vigilance (GP ₹6,600) OR

• 8 years experience in Admin/Finance/Vigilance (GP ₹5,400)

Desirable:

• MBA / PG Diploma in HR/Finance/Law

• Experience in medical or teaching institutes

• Computer knowledge

2. Accounts Officer

• Group: B

• Pay Level: Level 8

• Salary: ₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100

• Deputation Period: 2 years

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in Commerce

• 8 years experience in Govt/Semi-Govt with 5 years in Level 6 OR

• 6 years as Senior Accountant in regular service

3. Store Officer / Maintenance Officer / Hostel Supervisor

• Group: B

• Pay Level: Level 7

• Salary: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400

• Deputation Period: 2 years

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in any discipline

• Holding similar post OR

• 5 years regular service in Level 6 post

• Minimum 3 years experience in related field

• Computer knowledge preferred

4. Office Superintendent

• Group: B

• Pay Level: Level 6

• Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400

• Deputation Period: 3 years

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree from recognized university

• Holding similar post OR

• 6 years experience with GP ₹2,800 OR

• 11 years experience with GP ₹2,400

5. Assistant

• Group: B

• Pay Level: Level 6

• Salary: ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400

• Deputation Period: 3 years

Qualification & Experience:

• Degree in any discipline

• Holding similar post OR

• 10 years regular service as UDC/equivalent with Admin experience

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years

• Age will be calculated as on 23 March 2026
