Educational Qualification
To apply for the post of Stenographer (Lower Grade), candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Degree

Must possess a University Degree.

Candidates with a Degree in Law will be given preference.

Those with at least 3 years of experience in Stenography may also be considered even if they don’t have a degree.

Typing and Shorthand Skills

Must have passed English Shorthand Examination with a minimum speed of 80 w.p.m. or above from Government Commercial Certificate Examination or ITI.

Must have passed English Typing Examination with a speed of 40 w.p.m. or above conducted by the Maharashtra State Bureau of Examination or MSCE.

Alternatively, candidates may have a Government Certificate in Computer Typing Basic Course (GCC-TBC) from MSCE or ITI.
